The SailGP is live action sailing as you’ve never experienced it before with 2 tonne 15 metre long hydrofoiling catamarans fly weightless across the water at speeds of just under 100kmph and this can be seen on Whakaraupō, Lyttelton Harbour within an ancient volcano under the guardianship of Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke Rāpaki.
Heading into its third season, SailGP is said to be the fastest growing sports league in the world – it is action-packed, boat-to-boat racing just metres off the shoreline edge.
