Your views about the ‘Gateway to New Brighton’ project.
The Gateway plan is a very important piece of the rejuvenation of New Brighton and very much tied to the replacement of the Pages Road bridge.
One of the biggest recent challenges has been the battle by Coastal Councillor Celeste Donovan along with Councillor Aaron Keown, to get this back on the current budget, as in the jostle for transport infrastructure spending, had been pushed well down the list.
The battle is not over, and it is important people make their voices heard in the Long-Term Plan hearings regards all the current funding to be spent in the Coastal area particularly New Brighton… by providing feedback on-line or going into the local library and filling out a submission form.
