The NBRA held its AGM on 09 September 2020 and the minutes from the meeting are attached. In summary the following occurred:
- Welcome to everyone from patron Bob Andrews
- Chair report – detailing achievements of the group in the last 12 months
- Treasurer report on current finances
- Submission for amendments to the constitution to allow NBRA to move forward – these related to definitions of who can be part of committee and number of people attending.
- Nominations and voting for Executive Committee positions resulting in:
- Chair – Sherry Peck
- Deputy Chair – Celeste Donovan
- Treasurer – Chantal Johnson
- Secretary – Ian Bishop
- Thanks for dedication of Brian Donovan to resurrect the NBRA after 7 years in hiatus
- Thanks to guests from local representative bodies Parliament / Council / Coastal Community Board
- Guest Speakers from the Christchurch Coastal Residents United (CCRU)

As mentioned in the meeting, the NBRA is focussed on keeping the locals informed and now that the organisation is officially reformed after hard work from Brian Donovan to raise it up again, we look forward to the year ahead!
