He Puna Taimoana has once again pulled off a marketing coup for New Brighton.
It is hard to emphasize what a success story this recreational attraction continues to be. Despite the tough marketing conditions and Covid interruptions, its patronage is consistently high and the feedback just as positive. The latest exposure (so to speak) was on Television NZ’s Breakfast on Tuesday morning (see link below)
There are further hot pools coverage to come as soon as next month and that is likely to be global.
The message from New Brighton Residents Association is to all businesses in New Brighton, don’t wait and hope the “rub off” effect may bring customers to you. Be pro-active and find some networking links to He Puna Taimoana, or market yourself as being in New Brighton the heart of the He Puna Taimoana hot pools.
This year there will be work done in this area to help local (not just New Brighton) businesses promote themselves and Coastal Councillor Celeste Donovan has been looking into this..
Congratulations to Merryn Skipper who has overseen the pools progress since its opening and moving to a wider role associated with Council facilities on the basis of her great work, and ‘Sunrise Soak’ supervisor Helen for hosting the TVNZ Breakfast team.
Well done to all the staff for the ongoing friendly approach to customers every single day, and handling the processes around Covid so well.
