Gay Pride week is with us again and amongst the myriad of colourful events will be the return of the ‘sashay-olay’ at the He Puna Taimoana this Monday night.
This will be a ‘Splash’n Drag Pool Party’ and last year’s event was packed as can be seen from 2021 photos..
Jack Swallows will be the MC with help from entertainers Lady Bubble along with Miss Shaniqwa. One of the highlights will be the catty-walk where giveaways will be given to the best pride bathing costumes.
This gets underway at 8pm and costs $30 and if you are a hot pools customer, you will not often experience a session like this.
The Gay Pride extravaganza starts tonight and extends to almost two weeks of events.
